Journalist Registration Now Open for the 2026 WAIC

Dear Members of the Press,

The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC 2026) will be held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20, 2026. The media registration portal will be open from June 17 to June 30, 2026.

WAIC 2026 will be hosted across multiple landmark venues in Shanghai, including:

Shanghai World Expo Center

Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center

Media Accreditation Requirements

Journalists are required to hold a valid journalist certificate issued by the National Press and Publication Administration; foreign journalists should possess a resident journalist certificate/press card or a valid journalist visa.

The conference will provide registered journalists with a "Media Service Manual," conference materials, news resources, and contact details for interviews with various activities (exhibitors) via emails, Cloud news center, as well as journalist WeChat groups（accredited domestic journalists only）.
